Six years in the making, BE ALIVE is a part of a previously unfinished project that was based upon both me adopting the new age religion and also exploring Cosmic Humanism. According to 21st Century Confusion, Cosmic Humanism "sees God and the universe as the same. This concept of God is called pantheism. Pantheists believe that the terms God and the world are interchangeable.

This New Age worldview believes that the world is God and God is the world. Cosmic humanism sees the concept of God being everywhere at once to be impossible in the physical world unless he IS the physical world."

On the verge of creating this album in my real life, I had explored a deep depression. I was bitter, helpless, truly afraid to express my feelings as a person or have anyone truly care for me as a person, outside of family. I felt so alone in the world, even if I probably wasn't. You know how that goes.

So, BE ALIVE wound up being a truly spiritual and a slightly shamoblic album, but in a way that chronicles going underneath a heavy depression and managing to bring myself out of the darkness. All of it is instrumental, of course, and made from the rubble of multiple albums I had never got to finish back in those days..
